Our Food Ministry is a compassionate outreach designed to provide practical support and encouragement to families facing food insecurity. Through this program, qualifying families receive a week’s worth of groceries to help meet their household needs. Participants begin with an initial six-week enrollment period, allowing us to build relationships and offer consistent support during a challenging season. Recognizing that every family’s situation is unique, assistance may be extended beyond the initial six weeks when additional help is needed.
More than simply providing food, the ministry serves as a tangible expression of God’s love and the caring heart of our church. Volunteers work diligently to ensure that families receive nutritious groceries while being treated with dignity, respect, and kindness. Through this outreach, we seek to strengthen our community by meeting physical needs and offering hope, encouragement, and connection.
A special extension of our Food Ministry is the Blessing Box, which is available to anyone in need at any time. Stocked with non-perishable food items and essential household goods, the Blessing Box operates on a simple principle: take what you need and leave what you can. Church members and community residents alike contribute items, creating a shared effort to care for neighbors and ensure that help is always accessible.
Together, the Food Ministry and Blessing Box reflect our church’s commitment to serving others, demonstrating Christ’s love through generosity, compassion, and practical assistance. By working alongside our congregation and community partners, we strive to make sure no one faces hunger alone.
