At our church, we are incredibly blessed to partner with Operation Christmas Child, a wonderful ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. Through the simple gift of a shoebox, we get to make a lasting impact in a child’s life and share the beautiful message of Jesus Christ with kids around the world.
Every year, our church family comes together to fill these boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and our heartfelt prayers. These gifts travel to local churches in more than 175 countries and territories, opening doors for families to hear about God’s love and the hope found in Jesus.
These boxes are so much more than holiday gifts. They serve as a tangible expression of Christ’s love. They even give children the opportunity to participate in The Greatest Journey, a discipleship program where they grow in their faith and learn how to share Jesus with others.
We owe a huge thank you to our amazing OCC organizers, “Christmas Crystal and Johnna Claus“! They work hard all year long—collecting, organizing, and preparing for our favorite event of the year: Shoebox Saturday!
Shoebox Saturday is always filled with so much joy, laughter, and fellowship. It brings back that classic, sweet excitement of Christmas morning. But instead of unwrapping gifts, our church family gets to pack God’s love into boxes destined for remote villages, jungles, deserts, and areas affected by conflict.
Every single shoebox represents a child who is deeply loved and valued by God. We would love for you to join us this year. Come be a part of the fellowship, share in the joy, and help us reach children around the world—one shoebox at a time.
