WELCOME, PASTOR!
We are delighted to welcome our new pastor, Rev. Alan Patrick, his wife, Hailey and their children to our church family! We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to growing together in faith, serving our community, and sharing God’s love with others. We pray that God will richly bless our pastor with wisdom, strength, and joy as he leads us. May our church be a place of love, encouragement, and unity as we move forward together in God’s plan. Rev. Patrick will begin his ministry at IMBC on Monday, October 5th.

APPRECIATION RECEPTION FOR DR. WHITE AND JANET
On Sunday, September 27, at 5:00 pm, we will celebrate the ministry of Dr. and Mrs. White for the time they have led us. We have been encouraged and challenged through their ministry, and we want to thank them and praise God. Plan now to join us in the Hames Family Life Center for this recognition.

YOUTH FUN
Our youth will be going to Top Golf on Sunday, September 27, at 4:00 pm. You must sign up today if you will go. Please see Griffin if you have questions.

ATTENTION KIDS

MEN’S BROTHERHOOD
All men are invited to our meeting in the fellowship hall on Tuesday, September 15, 6:30 pm. Our guest speaker will be Dr. James Dunn who is a general surgeon in Spartanburg and member of First Baptist Spartanburg. Dinner will be served. Please sign up if you plan to attend.

JANIE CHAPMAN STATE MISSIONS OFFERING MONTH OF SEPTEMBER
Our church goal is $2,000.00 for this special offering. As of last Sunday, we have received $1,190.00.

BAPTISMAL SERVICE

WOMEN WITH A PURPOSE
All ladies are invited to our next meeting in the fellowship hall on Thursday, September 17, at 12:30 pm.

LADIES FUNDRAISER
Don’t forget the spaghetti lunch following the service on Sunday, September 20. See Ashley Bell, Amy Smith or Crystal Rudasill to purchase tickets. Cost is $15 for adults and $7 for kids, 10 years old and under. Take-out plates will be available. All proceeds will go to cost of the women’s conference in October.

YOUNG AT HEART
We will join Little Mountain Baptist Church on Thursday, October 1st for the fall fellowship. We will not have our regular meeting in October. Sign up at the office window. See Kevin or Vicki Whitson if questions.

SAFETY TEAM
All Wednesday and Sunday Safety Team members are asked to meet in the chapel this morning following the service.

DEACON ORDINATION

Please pray for the men’s team as they visit Livesay Correctional Facility on Friday, September 18, at 7:00 pm. Mike Cannon will be the team leader.
