A “meal train” is being organized for the Irwin family to help relieve them from the worries of meal prep after being overseas for two weeks to finalize becoming a family of 5! Multiple families can partner up to get a meal together. If you would like to help, please sign up in the church office no later than Sunday, January 19. We would like to provide meals beginning January 20 through February 3. The family has no food allergies. Please see Ashley Bell or Kathleen Mosley if you have questions.

We have a few more shut-ins to be adopted for 2020. Please call the church office if you would like to participate in this wonderful ministry. Let’s make these wonderful folks feel special and loved! Thank you for your faithfulness!

Don’t forget we are collecting new hats, gloves and socks for the homeless in our area. We will collect through the month of January. Thank you!

On Sunday, January 19, we will have a celebration for Rev. Hames’ 20 Years of Service as our Pastor. The morning service will be a time of recognition for Rev. Hames. At 5:00 pm, we will have a churchwide celebration meal. The meat, bread and drinks will be supplied by the church. We have the following menu and ask you to bring one of these items: greens, sweet potato souffle, green beans, black eyed peas, fried okra, deviled eggs, macaroni and cheese and desserts (including some doughnuts.) A sign-up sheet is in the office for the sides and desserts to serve as a guide for the number of each dish being prepared. We look forward to celebrating this special day with our dear pastor. Please plan to attend both the morning service and the afternoon meal as we mark this great day!
