Jack Hames, Pastor

“I am Jack Hames, pastor of Inman Mills Baptist Church. On Mother’s Day 1956 I began my ministry at Harris Chapel Baptist Church in Hollister, North Carolina. I am a graduate of Furman University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. My passion is to faithfully serve a local congregation with a strong emphasis on local, state and foreign missions. I am traditional in my preaching. It is my joy to know my people personally! I pray it will be His will to allow me to continue to serve Inman Mills. I have been pastor of five Southern Baptist Churches in North and South Carolina. My previous pastorates: Harris Chapel, NC; First Baptist King, NC; West Concord, NC; Northside Rock Hill, SC; and Boiling Springs First Baptist, SC.”

Travis Smith, Minister of Music and Activities

Travis Smith is a lifelong resident of Spartanburg County. He became a Christian at the age of twelve, and shortly after that he felt called into music ministry. He feels blessed to serve the Lord at Inman Mills Baptist Church and has held this position since 1996. Travis is responsible for directing the respective choirs and planning the music program of our church. He is also responsible for all church wide activities. Travis is married to Amy, and they are proud parents of three active boys, Jacob, Caleb and Eli.

Griffin McCall, Youth Director

Griffin McCall is a graduate of North Greenville University.  It is his desire to teach and encourage students and families to be reflections of God’s light and love to a dark and broken world.

Amy Smith, Children’s Director

Amy Smith is our children’s director. She is a graduate of Converse College with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. Amy is married to Travis Smith and they have 3 sons, Jacob, Caleb, and Eli. Her heart’s desire is to share God’s love with the boys and girls at Inman Mills Baptist Church and its neighbors. Children are a blessing from The Lord and she is grateful to have the opportunity to serve The Lord by teaching these precious children His word.

Angie Dorn, Secretary

Angie Dorn is our secretary. She has been serving Inman Mills Baptist in this position since 1999.

Susan Moon, Treasurer

“I’ve attended this church all my life since my parents brought me as a newborn.  I was baptized & became a member when I accepted Jesus at the age of 12.  My goal as treasurer is simply to be the best manager possible (with God’s help) of all the money given to our church by its members & friends.” Susan began serving in this position January 2023.

Vivian West, Pianist

Vivian West is our pianist and she has been serving in this position since 2000.

Ann Bridges, Organist

Ann Bridges is our organist and has been serving in this position since 2012.
