The message at 6:00 pm will be, “Jesus Commended Him” – Luke 7:1-10.

All senior adults are invited to the North Spartan Associational Senior Lunch at Holston Creek Baptist on Thursday, May 10, at 11:30 am. Lunch will be BBQ with all the trimmings and Shana Parris will be singing. Don’t miss this time of fun and fellowship!

We will have this special event on Sunday, May 13, at 11:00 am. Please turn in the names of any children who have not been previously dedicated no later than Wednesday, May 9. We look forward to this special occasion!

In the absence of our pastor, we welcome Rev. Gary Adkins to our pulpit on Sunday, April 22 for both the 11:00 am and 6:00 pm services. We would love to have you join us!

Our church will participate in this special event for the American Cancer Society at Mabry Middle School on Friday, April 27. We will hand out bottled water and will be selling hot dogs. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Pray for this community mission outreach!

All ladies are invited to our annual Friendship Luncheon in the Fellowship Room on Saturday, May 19, at 12:00 pm. Our theme this year is “Salt of the Earth.” This will be a catered meal by Carolina Creations Catering and tickets are $8.00 each.  Our guest speaker will be Abby Hodge who is a sophomore at Boiling Springs High School. She is very active there as well as First Baptist Church Spartanburg and is involved in mission work in Kentucky.  Abby’s mom, Windy Hodge, will also speak. Windy is an Elementary School Principal in Spartanburg District 3. Music will be provided by Hearts Afire, a Southern Gospel/Blue Grass group. We are excited about this event.
