January 17 Sermon Topics
The sermon topic for the morning worship service is “FacingĀ Life’s Giants with Faith” – Deuteronomy 1:32. The topic for the evening service is “Check Your Value to God” – 1 Corinthians 3:5-10.
Baptist Men’s Day
Our men will lead in worship on Sunday, February 7, at 11:00 am for Baptist Men’s Day. Our speakers will be Garrick Irwin and Jason Mosley. The men will fill the choir during the morning service. Please pray for this upcoming service.
Baby Bottle Boomerang
During the next few weeks, we will be sponsoring the Baby Bottle Boomerang for the Carolina Pregnancy Center. Baby bottles are available to be filled with change or a check and return them back to the church office by Sunday, February 7. Thank you for your support of this important ministry!
January 10 Sermon Topic
The sermon topic for Sunday morning is “A Victorious Faith” – I Samuel 13:19-20, 14:6. The choir will present “Breath of Heaven” at 6:00 pm. Please join us!
Nicaragua Mission Team News
Save the date for a Soup Supper Fundraiser to support the Nicaragua Mission Team on Saturday, January 23, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the fellowship hall. The cost is $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for kids. Don’t miss this time of good food and fellowship!
Y 4 J (Youth For Jesus)
Y 4 J will be going to Moonshine Mountain on Friday, January 22. We will leave the church at 6:15 pm and return at 9:45 pm. The cost is $25.00 each. Come join us for some snow tubing fun!
Children’s Activity
On Saturday, January 23 the children will be going to Hearts of Clay, a pottery painting studio in Spartanburg. We will leave the church at 12:45 pm. You must sign up on the Children’s Activity Board if you plan to go.
