This is a nationwide prayer time at schools. Our church will sponsor and lead at Mabry Middle School. Volunteers are needed to hand out prayer information, bracelets and to help with breakfast. Last year we had over 100 in attendance! If you will help, please call or sign up in the church office today.

Inman Harvest Day
Don’t miss our annual street festival in downtown Inman. Volunteers are needed to set up booth/tent, hand out bottled water, give out church information, and basically be friendly and welcoming to our neighbors in the community. Volunteers are also needed to break down booth area around 4:00 pm. Last year we gave out more than 500 bottles of water with the salvation plan and hundreds of tracts. If you will help, please call or sign up in the church office today.
We have a number of students that are attending college from our congregation and we would like for them to know that we are praying for them during this time in their lives. If you would like to send them a card, a list of addresses is on the bulletin board near the office that you can pick up. Let’s love and encourage our college kids!
September is the month for the Janie Chapman State Mission Offering. Our church goal is $1,500.00. As of last Sunday, we have received $785.00. Thank you for your support of home missions!
The Music Minors, ages kindergarten – 6th grade, will begin practice again this afternoon at 5:15 pm in the Music Room. We will begin work on our Christmas music. Join us!
All children, ages 5 – 6th grade, will meet in the fellowship hall on Sunday, September 23, at 5:30 pm to make/decorate cookies to take to shut-in members of our church. Join us for this important outreach opportunity!

Rev. Harold King will bring the morning and evening messages. Prior to his retirement, Rev. King was pastor of Southside Baptist in Chesnee. Brother Lockhart was his minister of music.

The AM sermon topic is “He Is My Friend” – Acts 26:24-29. The PM service will take place at 6:00 pm at Chapman High School…combined choirs of Holston Creek and our choir will present “The Cradle, The Cross, The Crown” – Celebrating the Life of Christ and His Expected Return
The AM sermon topic is “Does Your Life Give Forth Evidence?” – 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10. The Thanksgiving Fellowship Meal will be at 5:00 pm.
