CHILDREN’S CHOIR
The Music Minors, ages kindergarten – 6th grade, will begin practice again this afternoon at 5:15 pm in the Music Room. We will begin work on our Christmas music. Join us!
COOKIE BAKE AND TAKE
All children, ages 5 – 6th grade, will meet in the fellowship hall on Sunday, September 23, at 5:30 pm to make/decorate cookies to take to shut-in members of our church. Join us for this important outreach opportunity!

Rev. Harold King will bring the morning and evening messages. Prior to his retirement, Rev. King was pastor of Southside Baptist in Chesnee. Brother Lockhart was his minister of music.

Sept. 9th Sermon Topics
The AM sermon topic is “He Is My Friend” – Acts 26:24-29. The PM service will take place at 6:00 pm at Chapman High School…combined choirs of Holston Creek and our choir will present “The Cradle, The Cross, The Crown” – Celebrating the Life of Christ and His Expected Return

The AM sermon topic is “Does Your Life Give Forth Evidence?” – 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10. The Thanksgiving Fellowship Meal will be at 5:00 pm.
CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS
It’s that time again to place your order for a poinsettia in memory or in honor of someone special. The cost is $12.00 each, and your money must be included with your order. These beautiful poinsettias will decorate our sanctuary during December. Please fill out the form below and drop in the offering plate or bring by the church office.

SAVE THE DATE
Tuesday, January 16, 6:00 pm will be an Active Shooter Training at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Spartanburg. SLED will present a seminar on precautions and changes churches can make to better prevent and react to active shooter situations. All security men are strongly encouraged to attend. This event is sponsored by our North Spartan Baptist Association and we will need to let them know how many will be attending. Please let Randy Ertzberger know if you can attend this seminar.
