The prison team ministry is sponsoring a cookout for over 150 inmates at the Livesay Correctional Facility on Saturday, July 11. This will be a great outreach opportunity. Please pray for the team as they minister to these inmates.

The senior adults will have the monthly luncheon in the fellowship hall on Thursday, July 9, at 12:00 pm. Please bring a covered dish, and join us for this time of fellowship!

Make plans to  join us for a special time of baptism on Sunday, July 19, at 6:00 pm.

The adult choir will begin the summer choir tour on Wednesday, July 8. This has been such a blessing to the choir for the past two years, and we look forward to this year with anticipation for God’s blessings. Pray for the choir as plans are made for this special time of ministry and worship!

The topic for the Sunday morning service is “The Marks of Discipleship” – John 20:24-29; Galatians 6:17. 

We will have a Super Sundae Ice Cream fellowship in the fellowship hall this evening at 5:00 pm. If you can bring a churn of ice cream, please sign up in the church office today. Thanks for your help for this fun time of fellowship!

Our summertime gospel music celebration will be Sunday, July 12, at 6:00 pm. The choir will be singing some of your “all-time favorites,” and our own talented members are asked to participate as well. Help spread the word and invite others to attend!

Reaching out to others in need is what we are called to do as Christians. Our current outreach is for the Hospice House of Landrum. This is such a precious and tender ministry for families. With this in mind, we are collecting:

• Strawberry Ensure (for the home bound patients)
• Facial Tissues
• Money

(Mark your gift Hospice to purchase frozen casseroles/meals for families at the Hospice Home.)
