The sermon topic for Sunday morning is “The Law of Sowing and Reaping” – Ecclesiastes 11:1. We will have a watermelon fellowship beginning at 5:00 pm.

Make plans now to join us for the “Best Breakfast Buffet in Town” on Saturday, September 12 sponsored by our WMU Georgia Belles. All of your breakfast favorites will be served in the fellowship hall from 7:30 am until 9:30 am. Cost is $9.00 each and $4.00 each for children 8 years old and under. The sermon topic for the morning service is “Does Your Cup Leak?” Deuteronomy 4:23-31. The topic for the evening service is “An Unusual Taste” – Revelation 10:9-10.

Promotion Sunday will be September 6. We need the names of those students who will promote into the next class, as well as, anyone who has had perfect attendance this past church year. Call the church office or notify Dennis McDowell. Thank you!

We will have a time of prayer for our students as they begin school tomorrow. We will be praying for them during the morning service on August 16. Let’s remember them in prayer as they continue  throughout the school year.

Our first Breakfast of Champions is quickly approaching. Anyone interested in helping in any capacity is asked to meet in the chapel next Sunday, August 16 following the morning worship service. We welcome new men to join us!

The youth will be going out to eat after youth bible study on Sunday, August 9. Bring money for Pizza Inn buffet.

The choir will continue their summer tour on Thursday, August 13, at 7:00 pm at The Golden Age Nursing Home in Inman. Join us and you will receive a blessing!
