The WMU Georgia Belle will have a bake sale on Sunday, November 2 before and after the morning service. All proceeds will go to the Nicaragua Mission Team.

Children’s Choir
Beginning Sunday, October 19, our children’s choir will be practicing for the 2014 Christmas program, “A Majestic Night.” This is for all children ages 5 thru 6th grade. We will meet in the fellowship hall at 6:00pm every Sunday evening. It is always an enjoyable time when our children participate in Christmas activities. Please join us!

Annual Pounding
It is time once again for the annual pounding for Connie Maxwell’s Children’s Home. Our church has been asked to collect canned fruits that will be taken to the fall meeting on October 23. Thank you!
Prison Ministry
The hymnals in the chapel at the prison are over 35 years old, tattered, and need to be replaced. Our team is asking you if you would like to help replace these hymnals, to mark your gift “Prison Ministry.” Approximately 50 hymnals are needed at a cost of $10.00 each. Thanks for your concern for this ministry.
Reunion
The Gramling High School Reunion will be held on Saturday, October 25, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm in the Campobello Gramling School cafeteria. Please see Ruth Cook for more information.
Choir On The Road
Our choir has been invited to sing at the Eastside Crusade at Glendale Baptist Church on Monday, October 20. The service begins at 7:00 pm, and the choir will leave our church at 6:00 pm. The crusade is a joint meeting of four churches on the eastside of Spartanburg. We would love for you to come and worship with us on this evening. Also, more voices are needed for this special choir. Bibles
The Men’s Brotherhood plans to provide 35 football players with a study bible at the end of the season. Each bible will cost $25 each. If you would like to help, please mark ‘bibles’ on your envelope.
