All men are invited to the next men’s breakfast in the fellowship hall on Sunday, October 14, at 7:30 am in the fellowship hall.

The WMU Georgia Belles will have a bake sale in the cross hall on Sunday, October 14 following the morning worship service. You may pre-order from your favorite WMU baker. Plan to pick up a yummy dessert for Sunday lunch! All proceeds will go to churchwide mission projects.

The morning sermon topic is “Super Spiritual Vitamins” – II Peter 3:10-18. The evening topic is “Great Expectations” – I Samuel 13:13-14; Acts: 13:22-23.

Sunday, October 7th, will be Life Chain at West Side Baptist Church on John B. White Boulevard in Spartanburg. This is an opportunity to demonstrate to the community that abortion is wrong and that life is a gift from God. It will be a one-hour event, from 2:30 – 3:30. Please join us!

All children, ages 5 – 6th grade and their families, are invited to the Smith home on Friday, October 5th at 7:00 pm. Please sign up on the Activity Board if your family plans to attend.

Our upcoming fall outreach is just around the corner and we will need a lot of individually wrapped candy. Please begin to bring candy to the church office. Thanks for your help!

Please pray for this men’s ministry as their next visit to the prison will be on Friday, October 5 and will have prayer at our church on Tues., October 2, at 7:00 pm.

All ladies are invited to our next WMU meeting in the fellowship hall on Monday, October 1, at 6:30 pm. Join us for this night of fellowship!

Each year, the churches in our North Spartan Baptist Association gather needed items for the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home. This year, our church has been asked to collect bathroom tissue.
