In our continued ministry to our local schools, we will be collecting snacks for our teachers. Ideas include: granola bars, peanuts, chips, canned soft drinks, and chocolate (teachers love chocolate)! Items may be placed in the cross hall. If you prefer, you can donate money to purchase these items and some fruit. Mark your gift “teachers.” Thank you!

SC SINGING CHURCHMEN

The Singing Churchmen is a group of 60 ministers of music from all over the state. Travis has recently joined the group and they will be singing in an evening of choral music on Tuesday, May 2, at 7:00 pm at Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Taylors. You will hear southern gospel, barbershop, handbells, and a live orchestra! Make plans and come enjoy this worship time. You will be blessed! The church address is 4999 Old Spartanburg Road, Taylors.

VBS PLANNING MEETING

This year, we have the opportunity and privilege to teach boys and girls about Jesus Christ through the most important community outreach, Vacation Bible School. If you have never helped with VBS before, don’t wait, begin this year! We have classes for children ages 3 all the way through adults. The dates for VBS this year will be June 11 – 15 and our theme will be Galactic Starveyors. Please join us for a planning meeting on Sunday, April 30, at 5:05 pm in the fellowship hall. There is a place for everyone to help build relationships with the children of our future. Come be a part of a life-changing experience!
