NEW CHURCH YEAR
The church directory for the new church year is available at the bulletin stations. We will vote on the directory on Sunday, August 29 during the morning worship service. DEACON ORDINATION
We will have a Deacon Ordination for Jason Lowery and Brian Waldrep on Sunday, August 29, at 10:30 am. Please join us for this special time

PRAYER & COFFEE
Join us in the fellowship hall on Monday, August 23, at 8:00 am for a time of prayer!

We will have a church conference on Sunday, August 15, at 10:30 am for the purpose of voting on purchasing chairs for the FLC.
They will be similar to the ones we use now in the fellowship hall, only gray in color. The cost is $7,511.99 and designated money has been given for this purchase. See Ron Fine if questions.

We are collecting items through Sunday, August 29 for Chaplain Milam who ministers at the Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, NC. Her ministry is to those in palliative and hospice situations in a 10-bed facility. Our items to collect and place in cross hall are: blank cards with pretty scenery and Kleenex. Please pray for Chaplain Milam and let’s reach out and show our Christlike love and compassion for these veterans and their families.

Ruth and Rick Moon are hosting a swim party after church on Sunday, August 15 for the youth and RA’s. Lunch will be provided. If the weather is bad, we will reschedule. Please bring a towel, swim suit, sunscreen and a change of clothes. Don’t miss this fun time!
