Children are invited to join us Sunday, August 25, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. We will go to ChuckEChesse! Cost is free! Please sign up on the children’s activity board.

Our church has always helped area schools by collecting items needed in the classroom. The list has been modified this year to those items used all year long. If you would like to help, bring any of the items listed below no later than Sunday, August 18. Thank you for loving on our kids in this way! Needed items are: pencil pouches, Crayola crayons, colored pencils, wide-ruled notebook paper, dry erase markers, blunt tip scissors, Clorox wipes and Kleenex.

Plan to attend our next luncheon in the fellowship hall on Thursday, August 8, at 12:00 pm. Please bring a covered dish. Our guest will be Ken Wright, Ministry Outreach Advisor for Martha Franks and the SC Baptist Ministries on Aging, along with other staff who will share beneficial information with our group. Join us!

All children, K5 – 6th grade, are encouraged to come to our next practice on Sunday, August 18, at 5:15 pm as we begin practice for the children’s Christmas program. Don’t miss this fun time!

The Brotherhood men will meet in the fellowship hall on Saturday, August 10, at 8:00 am to begin preparations to feed the teachers on their first day back to school on August 12th. Pray for this outreach!

Plan to take your family to Bojangles in Inman on Tuesday, August 20, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. This ministry will receive a portion of all sales during that time.

The 11:00 am sermon topic is “How God Blesses” – Joshua 4:4-9 and the 6:00 pm topic is “Glorification” – Romans 8:28-31, 35-37.

All men interested in helping with upcoming Brotherhood outreaches are asked to meet Ricky Moon in the chapel this morning following the worship service. There are plans to feed the teachers at the beginning of the school year. Thank you for your response!
