The Christmas gifts for our shut-ins will be available next Sunday, December 4. If you have an adopted shut-in, please plan to deliver their gift the following week. Also, you will have the opportunity to begin adopting your shut-in for 2017. A sign-up sheet will be available in the hallway.

The Armor of God bible study has begun, but it’s not too late to begin this new study. We will meet on Monday, November 28, at 6:30 pm. There will be a $13.00 cost for the workbook. Please see Rebecca Pack for more information.

Our Thanksgiving service will be on Tuesday, November 22, at 6:45 pm in the sanctuary. This will be a special service with a Thanksgiving message from Rev. Hames. Join us for this special service of thanksgiving!

The topic for the morning service is “The Indispensable Christ” – John 15:1-10

Our Thanksgiving Fellowship Meal will be our evening service at 5:00pm in the fellowship hall. Everyone is asked to bring side dishes and/or desserts.

• The AM sermon topic is “From Worship to Service” – Matthew 17:1-9.
• The PM topic is “In Search of Real Faith” – Romans 10:11-17.

• The youth will be going to the Big C Tour at Landrum First Baptist Church this evening. We will leave the church at 6:00 pm. Parents are asked to pick up your youth at 8:45 pm.

• The youth are collecting empty paper towel and toilet paper rolls.

The Armor of God is more than merely a biblical description of the believer’s inventory. It is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory. Please join us as we study Priscilla Shirer’s Armor of God, beginning on Monday, November 21, at 6:30 pm. There will be a $13.00 cost for the workbook. The WMU Georgia Belles is once again sponsoring the Christmas Angel Program. The angels and their wish list will be available next Sunday, November 20. We are excited about this ministry!
