AM sermon topic is “Blessings of the Church” – Philippians 4:1-7.

At 5:00 pm our church-wide Thanksgiving meal will be in the fellowship hall. Turkey, dressing, bread and drinks will be provided by the church. Everyone is asked to bring side dishes and/or desserts. We look forward to this time together as a church family!

NOTE: Our mid week service will be our Thanksgiving service on Tuesday, November 20, at 6:45 pm in the sanctuary. This will be a special service with a Thanksgiving message from Rev. Hames. Please note we will not have a service on Wednesday, November 21.

The Living Nativity will be on Sunday, December 2, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Your help is needed for this outreach. There are sign up sheets in the office and on the front pew in the sanctuary.

The 3^rd – 6^th grade Sunday school class will be going to Laurel Hurst in Columbus on Sunday, November 25. We will leave the church at   2:30 pm. Please bring money to eat at Side Street Pizza following our visit.

The AM topic is “His Wonderful Love” – John 3:14-18

The PM topic is “The Lord Is My Light” – Micah 7:7-9.

CHRISTMAS FOR ALL

Spartanburg School District One is helping children in a different way this year. Our church has been asked to provide clothes only for children, ages 1 – 10. There are shopping lists with sizes available in the cross hall if you or your Sunday school class would like to take a list. All clothes should be brought back to the church unwrapped no later than Wednesday, December 5. See Wanda Fine if any questions.

WINTER COATS NEEDED

Our ‘We Care Food Ministry’ is collecting gently used coats for men and women to be used at the Spartanburg Miracle Hill Mission. If you have some you would like to donate, please bring them no later than Sunday, November 25 and they will be taken to the shelter. Thank you!

Released Time will have a fundraiser at Bojangles in Inman on Tuesday, November 20, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.

The AM sermon topic is “Finding and Following God’s Will” – Proverbs 3:6; Acts 9:1-11.

The PM topic is “The Power of a Vision” – Proverbs 29:18; Acts 16:9.

The morning worship topic is “The Meaning of L-O-S-T” – Ephesians 2:12-13

The evening worship topic is “A Christian’s Greatest Compliment” – Lamentations 3:22-25.

No Mid-Week Prayer Service
Church office will be closed

Our children’s choir, the Music Minors, will present patriotic music, “Let Freedom Ring,” on Sunday, July 1, at 11:00 am. Make plans to be present as we celebrate this time together!

Our Baptism service will be on Sunday, July 8, at 5:00 pm. We will baptize at 5:00 pm and then go to our fellowship hall for a time of celebration. Everyone is asked to bring finger foods for this special time. Drinks will be provided by the church.
