The WMU Georgia Belles will meet on Tuesday, September 6, at 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall. At this planning meeting for the new church year, we always enjoy great fellowship and a delicious salad supper. Everyone is asked to bring your favorite salad such as fruit, chicken, pasta, etc. Also, we are collecting bath soap for the North Spartan Association prison packets. Please bring 6 bars of soap (4 oz. size) for these packets. We welcome new members as we start the new church year!

Promotion Sunday will be September 4. We will recognize those students who will promote into the next class, as well as anyone who has had perfect attendance this past church year. Please turn the names in to the church office no later than August 31.

We will have a baptismal service and observe the Lord’s Supper on Sunday, August 28, at 6:00 pm. Make plans to join us for this special service!

The RA boys will be selling meal tickets for the Kairos Prison Ministry on September 4 and September 11 as you leave the morning worship service. The cost of the meal ticket is $5.00 each.

Everyone is invited to our church on Monday, August 22, at 8:00 am in the fellowship hall for a time of prayer for our community and nation. Coffee will be provided. Invite a friend and join us for this important time of prayer!

While our nation finds itself in a desperate need for prayer, there will be a Concert of Prayer on Sunday, September 18, at 6:00 pm in the Chapman High School Auditorium. The combined choirs of Holston Creek Baptist and Inman Mills Baptist Church will present “God Will Make a Way.” The entire community is invited to attend and be a part of this worship experience. The evening will begin at 5:00 pm with a prayer time on Main Street and proceed with a prayer walk with a huge American flag to Chapman for the Concert of Prayer. Help spread the word and invite everyone to attend!

We will have a brief report from our RA’s that attended Camp McCall and our  homemade ice cream fellowship on Sunday, August 21, at 5:00 pm. We will need 10 churns of ice cream. Please sign up in the church office if you can help. So, dust off that churn and join us. We will have a great time together!

The youth will be going to Gravitopia on Saturday, August 20. Please note the change in dates.
